Himachal Pradesh University has
issued admission notification to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course
commencing in 2017. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for
this programme till 16/05/2014.
Issuing a statement on its
official website it said that "All the applicants are advised to
read the Prospectus of the B.Ed Entrance Test- 2017 carefully before
filling up the Form which is available on
www.hpuniv.in and
www.hpuniv.nic.in."The
candidates are also strongly advised to ensure that he/she is eligible
in terms of the conditions/provisions mentioned in the Prospectus. The
copy of the Prospectus may also be downloaded from the said website for
ready reference.
HPU B.Ed Exam Eligibility Criteria :The
candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree
(Medical/Non Medical//Commerce/Arts) and/or in the Master’s Degree
or any other qualification equivalent thereto (any candidate with
49.99 % or less Marks would not be eligible) and 45% marks in case of
SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped categories (any candidate with 44.99%
or less Marks would not be eligible) from a recognized University
established by law in India are eligible for admission to the programme.
HPU B.Ed Exam Seat Availability :85%
seats are reserved for Bonafide/Domicile candidates of Himachal Pradesh
and 15% to the candidates of other States. One supernumerary seat
for Single Girl Child is
reserved in the Department. of Education H.P. University, Shimla.
HPU B.Ed Exam Important Dates :(1). Online filling B.Ed Entrance Application form commences from 14/04/2014.
(2). Last date for filling ONLINE B.Ed Entrance Application Form 16/05/2014.
(3). Last date for receipt of the Computer Generated Confirmation Copy/ Hard Copy of ONLINE
(4). B.Ed Entrance Test in the Office of Assistant Registrar (Entrance Tests),
Room No.10, Administrative Block, H.P. University, Shimla 171005 by Registered/Speed post or
by hand is 22/05/2014.
(5). Admit Cards/Roll Nos. can be downloaded from the H.P. University Website www.hpuniv.in with effect from 26.05.2014.
(6). Date of Entrance Examination 08.06.2014 (Sunday).
